Mary Dennis was the daughter of William America Dennis. William Americus Dennis was the son of John Dennis [b. 1788] who was the half-brother of Reubin Dennis, Sr.
Before the 1910 census Reubin and family has migrated to Monroe County, MO. His daughter is listed as age 16 and named Isla G. Dennis.
In the 1920 census of Monroe Co., MO, lists only Reubin and Mary Dennis.
The 1930 census of Monroe County, MO. lists Reubin C. living with his daughter, Bertha Dennis Pugh and her children. Bertha was listed as a widow. Also living in this household was Thomas Benton Dennis, age 89. Thomas was an older brother of Reubin. In the previous 1920 census, Thomas Benton, age 89 was living with his older sister Mary A.Dennis Sallen [age 85; b. 1835].
